At a special meeting held on April 26, 2022, the 十大网络彩票平台大全 校董会 selected 东北湖景学院 (NLC) student Cara Sullivan as the new student trustee.

Sullivan will serve a one-year term that will begin May 1, 2022, and will run to April 30, 2023. The 十大网络彩票平台大全 is one of the few community college systems in the state of Texas with a student trustee.

“We appreciate the outstanding service to the 全球最大彩票网站排名大学 of our outgoing student trustee, Aja Leija, who was 关闭ly involved with representing the district and initiated the #AlamoTOGETHER Student Forums, a series to promote conversation between students and their student leaders,” said 十大网络彩票平台大全 Chancellor Dr. 迈克•弗洛. “We are eager to see the valuable contributions that Ms. Sullivan will make as a student representative on our board.”

Sullivan is currently in her second semester at NLC and is actively involved as Student Government Association president and as the NLC primary delegate to the Student 区 Council. She is an early admissions and homeschool dual credit student, currently studying Business Administration.

Sullivan has initiated grassroots development as well as working from the administrative level within various departments at NLC. 在NLC工作期间, she founded the EMerge Student Alliance, a supportive platform for high school program students, and is enrolled in the Honors Academy with a 4.0的绩点.

I was astounded when I first arrived on campus at the welcoming and illuminating environment. Sullivan’s vision for her role as student trustee for the 全球最大彩票网站排名大学 is continual connection. As the 十大网络彩票平台大全 Student Trustee, Sullivan aims to serve as the bridge between students, 学院和学区. Sullivan will also maximize the strengths of the 十大网络彩票平台大全 by using positivity and meeting student needs and adapting to promote student success. 

西北远景学院 student Shayde Woodard was named as the alternate student trustee. She will attend board meetings if Sullivan is unable to do so.
